Kelly Pfeiffer

I teach parenting classes using the Parenting the Positive Discipline Curriculum. I also train child care providers on a variety of topics including child growth & development, guidance (discipline/behavior) and movement exploration.

As a freelancer, I schedule my own part-time work. I usually teach 2-3 classes a week outside of the home, but am home designing trainings and writing web articles the rest of the week.   

Facts & Latest Projects

I live with four teenagers in my blended family and am the feature writer for the parenting teens section of Suite101.com.

One of my latest projects is developing and teaching a parenting class to parents of children on the autism spectrum. I'm learning a lot from the parents.

Another project I'm excited about is I designed a 15 - hour training for day care providers called "Positive Discipline for Child Care Providers".
